John Whittingdale popped into Asda in South Woodham Ferrers to support the store’s efforts to raise money for the “Tickled Pink” campaign in aid of Breats Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Campaign.
Now in its 15th year, the campaign has raised over £25 million. Last year, the South Woodham Ferrers store came third in the Suth Of England for the most money raised. Despite not being by any means the biggest store, this year Asda in South Woodham Ferrers has raised the most money of any store in the South of England and is fourth in the country (out of 500 stores). John was welcomed to the store by Deputy Mayor of South Woodham Ferrers and Head of Community Involvement for ASDA SWF, Lisa Kelly.
