On Monday 16th August, John Whittingdale opened the new offices for HomeInstead in South Woodham Ferrers.
HomeInstead provides personal care allowing elderly people to continue living in their own homes. Part of a national network, the South Woodham Ferrers office covers South Woodham, the Dengie Peninsula and Rayleigh, adjoining the existing offices in Chelmsford and Southend.
John met Owner and Director, Dorothy Nwankwo, and Care Manager, Susan Garrett, as well as carers and other family members (pictured). John said: “With a growing elderly population in our area, the need for care providers will continue to grow. Where possible, it is far better for people requiring care to remain living in their own homes and so I am delighted that HomeInstead are now providing this service across Mid Essex”
