John Whittingdale visited Ormiston Rivers Academy in Burnham-on-Crouch, to meet Principal, Jo Williams, and to tour the school.
John said “I was delighted to drop into a number of the lessons and to see the students learning about a wide range of subjects. In particular, I was impressed by those undertaking the Jack Petchey Achievement Award scheme and to give them some tips on public speaking. I was also pleased to hear from Jo Williams about the steady progress that the school is making and her wish to strengthen its links with the local community!”.
