John Whittingdale visited the Ladbrokes shop in Market Square. South Woodham Ferrers to discuss Gambling issues and the contribution that Ladbrokes’ two shops make to the town.
John talked District Supervisor, Cheryl Knights, and members of staff. He also took advantage of Ladbrokes offer to place a £50 bet on the Grand National taking place that day with any winnings going to charity. Sadly, John’s choice, “West End Rocker”, although strongly tipped, fell at the second fence.
