John Whittingdale and 12 of his colleagues have signed a second letter to Energy Minister, Greg Hands, putting forward our increasing concerns with National Grid and their handling of the East Anglia GREEN proposal.
It is very clear John’s constituents support an offshore grid option that would protect our local countryside and communities- however this has not been listened to by National Grid when these views were overwhelmingly expressed in the public consultation.
John agrees that the consultation should be opened back up, so all the options can be discussed again, properly- and fairly, like similar proposals in other parts of the UK.
