John Whittingdale attended the Armed Forces Day ceremony organised by Maldon District Council at Longfields, Maldon. At the event, there was a display of military vehicles as well as a fly past of three vintage aircraft organised by Stow Maries Aerodrome. At 12.00pm, the flag was raised accompanied by a piper with the sea cadets parading. All proceeds went to “Help the Heroes”.
