Sir John Whittingdale, MP for Maldon was pleased to speak in the debate in Westminster Hall called by his neighbour, Dame Priti Patel, MP for Witham on Health and Wellbeing Services in Essex.
This allowed both Sir John and Dame Priti to press the case for continuation of services provided at St Peter’s in advance of Sir John’s own debate on St Peter’s in the House of Commons this Thursday.
They were also able to ask the Minister about primary care in the District and about the progress of the Lampard Inquiry into Essex Mental Health Services.
