John Whittingdale presents computer equipment to local schools.
John Whittingdale MP gathered with children from across Maldon at the local Tesco store. He was on hand to participate in the Computers for Schools program which allows children to collect vouchers and exchange them for computer equipment for their school.
For the more than £14,000 collected by local schools, Mr. Whittingdale handed out printers, digital camcorders, and laptops. Among the schools receiving computer equipment were Cold Norton Primary, Maldon Primary, Maylandsea Primary, and Heybridge Primary.
