Sir John Whittingdale, MP for Maldon, visited the Action for Family Carers Centre at Brickhouse Farm Community Centre, Maldon, with Mayor of Maldon, Cllr Andrew Lay.
Cllr Lay presented a cheque on behalf of the Mayor’s Charities Appeal. Sir John met Chair, Kath Vale, and members of staff and volunteers (pictured below) as well as clients who were enjoying a game of Elvis Bingo.
Action for Family Carers are an Essex-based Charity, who over 30 years have been working to improve the lives of unpaid carers, whether it be in providing opportunities for education, training, employment or socially. Follow the link below to find out more:
