John Whittingdale visited St Cedd’s Primary School, Bradwell on Sea, with Vicky Ford MEP.
John met Pauline Ward, Headteacher, to discuss potential opportunities arising from the possible development of a new nuclear power station at Bradwell financed and operated by China General Nuclear. The school is considering employing a Mandarin teacher in conjunction with Ormiston Rivers Academy in Burnham.
John also opened the new Multi Use Games Area sports facility in the playground. This has been funded through the Primary Spaces project run by Sport England.
