If you are 70 or over and have yet to be contacted by the NHS to book your vaccine appointment, the Government has announced that you can now contact the NHS directly to book your appointment.
On 8 February, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, announced that all eligible people over 70 who have yet to be contacted by the NHS to book their vaccine appointment, can now sign up online or over the phone to arrange their vaccine.
This change has been made to ensure that absolutely everyone is offered the vaccine.
The easiest way to arrange a vaccination is online through the national booking service that can be accessed at www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination. Anyone unable to book online can call 119 free of charge, anytime between 7am and 11pm seven days a week.
